How we review
Thai Clinic Guide compares hospitals and clinics in Thailand using only what providers and regulators publish. This page sets out the method so you can decide how much weight to give it.

Our sources
Each fact on a provider profile has one of two origins:
- the provider's official website;
- a regulator, professional council or government body.
Review sites, forums, social media, other comparison sites and marketing agencies are not sources for us. Every profile lists the pages we read and when, so you can check them. Where a fact is not in those sources, we mark it as not published instead of guessing.
What we record
For each provider we record the following, and only when it is published:
- services, departments and the care types covered;
- stated accreditations, such as hospital accreditation;
- supported languages;
- opening hours, emergency cover, address and main phone number;
- prices, only when published, linked to the page they come from.
Every care type adds its own criteria, set out on its hub page: hospitals, dental clinics, dermatology clinics, mental health services, IVF and fertility clinics, egg freezing clinics, women's health and OB-GYN services, cosmetic and plastic surgery clinics, eye hospitals and clinics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinics, children's hospitals and paediatric clinics, health check-up packages, hospital emergency departments, orthopaedic and joint centres, heart centres and cardiology departments, gender-affirming surgery clinics, vaccination and travel clinics.
We do not score clinical quality, outcomes or individual doctors, and the order on a comparison page is not a ranking. A provider is included when it publishes the service being compared.
Updates
Each profile shows when its sources were last read. We aim to re-read them at least every six months, and sooner if a provider or reader reports a change. Prices and staff lists change often, so confirm them with the provider before booking.
Writers and reviewers
The writer collects the facts and attributes each one to its source. A second named person covers each care type (Anucha Prasertkul where none is assigned) and reads comparisons and guides against those sources before publication, checking accuracy and flagging anything that could read as personal advice. Neither is a treating clinician, and nothing here is medical advice.
Corrections
To report an error, use the correction form or email hello@thaiclinicguide.com. Include the page and, ideally, a link to the provider's own page with the right details. We check the source, fix the page and update its date. Providers correcting their own entry should point us to their website rather than send claims we cannot attribute.
Not medical advice
These pages compare what providers publish about themselves. They do not replace advice from a qualified health professional. See the medical disclaimer.
Ownership, funding and the full team are on the about page.
