About

Kanya Physical Therapy Clinic was opened by Associate Professor Kanya Palawiwat in a shophouse near the Fai Chai intersection in 1981. It moved to Sirindhorn Road in 2008 and works with an academic advisory board of physiotherapy lecturers, several from Mahidol University's Faculty of Physical Therapy.

The group lists eight branches across Bangkok and its outskirts, a Senior Home Care service for patients who cannot easily travel, and Kanya Academy, which runs professional training for physiotherapists. It says it is opening a physical therapy hospital with inpatient rehabilitation in 2026.

Its services are grouped into musculoskeletal, neurological, scoliosis, sports and older-adult physiotherapy, a breastfeeding and women's health clinic and a vertigo clinic.

Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinics

Kanya is a standalone physiotherapy group that began in 1981, when Associate Professor Kanya Palawiwat opened a small clinic near Fai Chai. It now has eight branches across Bangkok and its outskirts, an advisory board of physiotherapy academics (several from Mahidol University), and its own training academy for therapists.

Treatment is organised by condition: musculoskeletal care for office syndrome, disc and nerve problems and post-operative rehabilitation; neurological rehabilitation for stroke, spasticity and Parkinson's disease; scoliosis work using the PSSE exercise approach; sports physiotherapy; a breastfeeding and women's health clinic; and a vertigo clinic. A Senior Home Care team treats patients at home.

The clinic says sessions start from about 1,000 THB, depending on the condition and session length, and that it does not sell packages or prepaid programmes; each visit includes a reassessment. It may suit Bangkok residents who want a long-established clinic with a neurological or home-visit option.
