Preecha Aesthetic Institute (PAI)

PAI is a clinic on Sukhumvit 55 with 10 consultation rooms and six operating rooms for procedures under local anaesthesia. Consultations, check-ups and follow-up happen at the clinic, while operations under general anaesthesia are performed at affiliated JCI-accredited private hospitals. Five surgeons are listed, three of them captioned as Thai Board plastic and reconstructive surgeons.

Alongside its gender-affirming work, it lists about 40 aesthetic procedures. Its breast augmentation page sets out a package including one night in a private room, implants from 200 to 400 cc, tests, anaesthesia, surgeon and nursing fees, a support bra, take-home medicine and follow-up, but gives no total. It recommends staying eight to nine days, with flying cleared after stitch removal.

It may suit patients who want an established plastic surgery practice and are comfortable with surgery at a partner hospital.

Worth confirming: The breast augmentation page lists surcharges (larger implants, cardiology clearance over 45, 3% card fee) but no base price; ask for the full total in writing.

PAI, on Sukhumvit 55, was founded by Assoc. Prof. Dr Preecha Tiewtranon and lists five surgeons. For trans women it publishes penile skin inversion (with or without a scrotal skin graft), sigmoid colon and zero-depth vaginoplasty and orchiectomy, plus facial feminisation; for trans men it lists mastectomy, metoidioplasty, hysterectomy with oophorectomy and vaginectomy. It does not list phalloplasty.

Its vaginoplasty page says the clinic follows WPATH standards without naming a version, and asks for two letters from qualified mental health professionals, at least 12 months of continuous hormone therapy unless contraindicated or declined, a minimum age of 18 and experience living in the affirmed gender role. The package includes five nights in a private room at a JCI-accredited partner hospital, and the clinic asks patients to plan on about 18 days in Bangkok.

Surgery fees are given on enquiry only. It may suit trans women who want a long-established practice with a range of vaginoplasty techniques.

Worth confirming: The vaginoplasty page gives both one and two referral letters, and 14, 17 and 18 days in Bangkok in different places; confirm both in writing, along with the card fee (3% or 3.5%).
