Dental clinics and hospital dental centres across Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Phuket, compared on specialists, published fees, warranties and follow-up. Check services, staff, fees and availability with each provider before you book.
Bangkok's choice runs from hospital centres with jaw surgery to specialist implant clinics and station-side chains.
Pattaya and Phuket clinics are often set up for visiting patients; Chiang Mai clinics publish detailed baht price lists.
Implant prices are quoted in different ways: with or without the crown, by brand, and sometimes with a sterilisation fee per visit.
Warranties vary and are usually honoured only at the clinic that did the work, so get the terms in writing.
Our method for this page
We read each provider's own web pages on dental clinics in Thailand and kept only statements we could trace to a source. Nobody paid to be included, and the list is not a quality ranking. Criteria:
Bumrungrad's Dental Center is on the third floor of the South Wing in Building B and is open every day from 08:00 to 20:00. The hospital says it has more than 55 specialist dentists, and its directory lists dentists in implant dentistry, oral medicine, oral radiology, geriatric dentistry and craniofacial prosthetics as well as the main specialties.
The published scope runs from children's dentistry and root canal treatment to dentures and implants, orthodontics, veneers, gum treatment, jaw-joint care and oral and maxillofacial surgery, including orthognathic (jaw) surgery. The hospital's implant FAQ describes waiting about 90 days for the lower jaw and 180 days for the upper jaw before the implant-supported teeth are made, which shapes how many trips implant treatment takes.
No dental fees are published; the hospital states it has one pricing system for patients of all nationalities. The centre may suit patients who need complex or surgical dental work, or whose medical history makes a hospital setting reassuring.

Bangkok Hospital's Dental Center fills the second floor of the Dental Building on the headquarters campus off New Petchburi Road and is open daily from 09:00 to 20:00. The hospital says the team has more than 120 dental health professionals across 12 specialties, from children's dentistry and orthodontics to maxillofacial prosthetics, oral medicine and TMJ and craniofacial pain.
The centre is split into two zones: one for implants, root canal treatment and surgery, the other for veneers, ceramic fillings and same-day crowns milled by CAD/CAM, which the hospital says are fitted in a single visit. It lists 3D cone beam CT for implant planning, intraoral scanning and microscope-assisted root canal work.
A headquarters fee list valid to 31 December 2026 prices single implants with the crown included, by brand, alongside crowns, root canals, dentures and orthodontics; Invisalign packages are listed on the centre's page. It may suit patients who want implant and crown work planned and made in one place.

Samitivej Sukhumvit's Dental Clinic is on the fourth floor of Building 2, the Sukhumvit Wing, and keeps long hours: 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday and until 17:00 on Sunday. The hospital says it treats local, expatriate and international patients, and that on request it can provide dentists who speak English, Japanese or German, with interpreters for other languages.
The published service list runs from check-ups, scaling and fillings to root canal treatment, implants, crowns, inlays and onlays, gum treatment and wisdom tooth surgery. Orthodontics covers conventional, lingual and ceramic braces and Invisalign. Treatment suites can support sedation and general anaesthesia, and the clinic has panoramic X-ray on site.
The hospital states it is JCI accredited and lists ISO 9001:2000 certification for the dental unit. No fees are published. It may suit expatriate families and patients who want dental treatment under sedation in a hospital setting.

Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai's Dental Clinic is on the fourth floor of Building A, according to the hospital's FAQ. The department describes a family-oriented service built around preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and its page gives hours of 08:00–20:00 Monday to Saturday and 09:00–17:00 on Sunday.
Dentists listed for the department include specialists in aesthetic restorative and implant dentistry, children's dentistry, orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and periodontology, alongside general dentists. Sedation is offered for patients with dental anxiety.
No price list is published. The hospital says interpreters can attend appointments and that its International Medical Service coordinators help in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Burmese, French and other languages. It may suit families and anxious patients in or visiting Chiang Mai who want dental care inside a general hospital.
Worth confirming: The hospital's FAQ gives the Dental Clinic's hours as 08:00–17:00, shorter than the department page; confirm before booking an evening appointment.
The Dental Center is on the fifth floor of Bangkok Hospital Phuket and is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00. The hospital describes a multidisciplinary team of dental specialists but does not say how many dentists work there.
Its listed services run from general and restorative dentistry, children's dentistry and gum and root canal treatment to wisdom tooth removal and other oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, implants and whitening. The centre has 3D dental X-ray and CT scanning on site.
The centre openly invites international patients to combine treatment with a stay in Phuket. Its published price list covers 11 areas, from cleaning and fillings to single implants, All-on-4, Invisalign and braces, but it stated a validity date of 31 December 2025, and the hospital says prices can change without notice. It may suit visitors to Phuket who want dental work in a hospital setting.
The Dental Cosmetic and Implant Center is on the fifth floor of Building E at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, open Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00. Its listed dentists include an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who places implants, prosthodontists, periodontists and an orthodontist, alongside general dentists.
Specialty areas run from children's dentistry and orthodontics to surgery, implants, root canal and gum treatment and aesthetic work such as veneers, with Zoom whitening also offered. The centre has a dental CT scanner for 3D implant planning and an operating microscope that magnifies up to 25 times for difficult root canals.
An implant package including the crown is priced at 47,000 to 85,000 baht and runs to 31 December 2026. It may suit Pattaya residents and visitors who want implant or specialist treatment inside a hospital with full medical back-up.

Pattaya Memorial's Dental Clinic sits inside the hospital on Central Pattaya Road. A full-time dentist works from 09:00 to 18:00, and a dentist is on call for emergencies late at night, which is unusual for a clinic of this size.
The hospital says the clinic was recently refitted with two new dental chairs and a panoramic X-ray machine. Listed procedures cover examinations, cleaning, fillings, whitening, root canals, extractions, oral surgery, crowns and bridges, dentures and implants.
The page names no dentists or specialties and publishes no prices. The hospital's Expat Care service lists interpretation in more than 20 languages, without naming them. It may suit residents and visitors in central Pattaya who need routine care or urgent help with toothache, a broken tooth or a lost filling.

BIDC works from a seven-storey building on Soi Ratchadaphisek 7 in Din Daeng, with more than 24 treatment rooms and a team the clinic puts at over 70 dentists, many holding American Board or Thai Board certification. The same group runs Bangkok branches at Siam Paragon and EmQuartier, plus clinics in Phuket and Chiang Mai.
Implants are a large part of its published work, including full-arch All-on-4 cases, alongside veneers and smile design and orthodontics with Invisalign, clear, lingual and Damon systems. Patients who need general anaesthesia or IV sedation are treated through an allied dental hospital. The clinic states it was the first dental centre in Thailand to gain JCI accreditation, in 2012, and lists ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Its fee page prices implants brand by brand, with the crown on the implant charged separately, and adds a sterilisation fee per visit. It may suit patients who want a large, specialist-staffed clinic and a detailed fee list to compare before travelling.

Thantakit is a third-generation family practice that dates its start to 1945 and says it introduced implant surgery in Thailand in 1973. It works from a head office building on New Petchburi Road and a second clinic in CRC Tower at All Seasons Place, next to the US Embassy.
Implant work is central to what it publishes: computer-guided navigation surgery, full-arch cases, 3D CT imaging and an in-house CAD/CAM milling lab for crowns. Veneers, whitening and orthodontics with Invisalign and Damon braces are also listed, along with root canal, gum and children's treatment and TMJ care.
The price page quotes a single implant as a package with a zirconia crown, with the total set by the implant brand, and shows approximate foreign-currency equivalents next to the baht figures. Crowns carry a two-year warranty, and some treatments have a cash discount. It may suit patients who want an implant price that already includes the crown, from a clinic that lists English among its languages.

Skytrain Dental Group runs 14 neighbourhood clinics, most of them beside BTS or MRT stations, including Asok, Chidlom, Siam and several along Sukhumvit Road, with one branch in Samut Prakan. The group says it has provided dental care for more than 20 years, and every branch keeps the same hours, 11:00 to 20:00 daily.
Its listed treatments lean towards everyday and cosmetic work: orthodontics and clear aligners, veneers, whitening, crowns, bridges and dentures, plus implants, wisdom tooth surgery, root canal and gum treatment and children's dentistry.
An English price page gives guide ranges for these treatments, with implant fees depending on the system used, and says the final fee is set after an examination. Thai Social Security members can use their dental allowance for basic treatment. The group does not describe services for overseas visitors, so it may suit residents and longer-stay visitors who want a clinic close to a train station.

Phuket International Dental Center works from the fourth floor of the main building at Bangkok Hospital Siriroj, outside Phuket Town, and says it has served the island's international community since 1985. It describes itself as organised like a dental hospital, with 15 dentists who each hold a specialty qualification.
Its treatments fall into three groups: cosmetic and restorative work (whitening, veneers, crowns, bridges, implants and dentures), general care including bone grafts and sinus lifts for implant cases, and orthodontics with standard, lingual and Damon braces and Invisalign. The centre uses digital equipment, including a digital panoramic X-ray that it says uses 90% less radiation.
No prices are published, and the page does not describe interpreter or coordinator services. It may suit Phuket residents and longer-stay visitors who want a specialist-staffed centre with a long local record on a hospital campus.
Worth confirming: The centre closes at 17:00 daily; for staged work such as implants, confirm the number of visits and the time between them before booking travel.
CIDC is a clinic on Nimmanhaemin Soi 3 run by Dental Corporation Public Co., Ltd., the company behind Bangkok International Dental Center. It describes its dentists as English-speaking and its team as including board-certified specialists; the English site profiles dentists with training in restorative dentistry, orthodontics, implants and endodontics.
The clinic lists Straumann and SIC Invent implants, including full-arch work, along with veneers, crowns (one-day crowns among them), whitening, Invisalign and several types of braces. It uses digital X-ray, intraoral scanning and CAD/CAM.
Its Thai-language price list includes VAT, adds a 150-baht sterilisation fee per visit and runs to 31 October 2026; many items show promotional prices, and Invisalign can be paid in instalments. A free online consultation is offered through LINE, WhatsApp, email or a web form, which may help visitors to Chiang Mai plan treatment before they arrive.

Sea Smile Dental Clinic works from Rat-U-Thit 200 Pi Road in Patong and is set up for visitors: it says its team of more than 40 staff helps with hotel bookings, airport transfers and local travel, and it opens every day, until 20:00 on weekdays.
Implants are the focus of what it publishes, from single teeth to immediate-loading and All-on-4 full-arch work, which the clinic links to its partnership with the MALO Dental network and Nobel Biocare products. Veneers, crowns, whitening, Invisalign and root canal and gum treatment are also listed, with crowns and veneers made in an in-house laboratory that the clinic says is ISO 9001 certified.
The price page quotes single implants including the crown, by implant brand. A written guarantee offers replacement of titanium implant fixtures for up to five years, excluding bone grafting, travel and accommodation. It may suit holidaymakers in Patong planning implant or cosmetic work.

Dental World has run from Raj Chiang Saen Road, in the Jaeng Katam area, since 2009 and now has 13 treatment rooms with its own car park. Each stage of treatment goes to a specialist in that field, and the clinic says most of its dentists teach at Chiang Mai University; its dentist list shows Thai Board diplomates in orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and children's dentistry.
Implant work includes computer-guided placement, bone grafts and sinus lifts, and root canals are done under a microscope. Orthodontics runs from braces and Invisalign to treatment combined with jaw surgery. Nitrous oxide sedation is offered.
The baht fee list shows implants without the crown, and published warranty terms give five years on implant fixtures and two on crowns and bridges, honoured at the clinic. It may suit residents and visitors who want specialist-led care and clear terms in writing.

Dental Excellence by LERTs is a small clinic on Atsadathon Road, inside the old city moat near Wat Chedi Luang. It was founded by Dr Wasit Lertwanich, listed as its implant and cosmetic specialist, and says the dentist who plans a case is the one who finishes it. Dentists and front-desk staff speak English.
Its work centres on cosmetic and restorative treatment: ceramic veneers planned with digital smile design, crowns and bridges, Invisalign and Zoom whitening. Straumann implants are placed using 3D CT planning and printed surgical guides, and every chair has intraoral scanning.
The website gives starting prices, and the FAQ says the implant fee covers the fixture, CT scan, guided surgery and follow-up, with the abutment and crown quoted after planning. It may suit visitors to Chiang Mai who want veneers or implants planned in English, and who can fit around a Monday closure.

Choosing a dentist in Thailand is mostly about three things: who will actually treat you, exactly what the quoted price covers, and what happens if something needs attention after the work is finished. They matter most if you are flying in for implants, crowns or veneers and will be home before a later check-up would fall due.
This guide is general information, not dental advice: only a dentist who has examined you can say which treatment, if any, suits you.
Hospital dental centre, standalone clinic or chain
Many private hospitals run a dental centre inside the hospital, which puts general anaesthesia, medical specialists and inpatient care in the same building. Standalone clinics range from a single dentist to multi-chair practices with in-house specialists and laboratories. Chains run several branches under one brand, and dentists may work across more than one of them.
None is automatically better; the individual dentist and how follow-up is handled matter more. If you choose a chain, ask whether your records and any warranty carry over between branches, and whether you will see the same dentist each visit.
Checking the dentist and the clinic
Dentists in Thailand are licensed by the Dental Council of Thailand, which registers practitioners, certifies specialist training and issues specialist certificates through recognised specialist boards. Its public search at checkdent.dentalcouncil.or.th lets you look a dentist up by first name and surname; enter the name exactly as the clinic gives it.
For implants, gum surgery, root canal treatment on a difficult tooth or orthodontics, ask whether the treating dentist holds a specialist certificate in that field, not just whether they offer the treatment.
Clinics are licensed separately as healthcare facilities. The Department of Health Service Support's lookup at hosp.hss.moph.go.th shows a facility's licence type, operator, medical personnel and status, and suspected unlicensed clinics can be reported on 1426. The Dental Council has also reminded patients that orthodontic appliances, dentures and retainers should be provided only by licensed dentists using products that meet Thai Food and Drug Administration standards.
Treatment plans and itemised quotes
A dentist should examine you, with X-rays or a scan where needed, before giving a firm plan. The UK's General Dental Council, in advice for patients considering treatment abroad, says a plan or estimate should follow an assessment by a qualified dentist.
Ask for the plan in writing and itemised. For implants, it should name the implant system and say whether the abutment and crown are included; quotes differ widely on this. For crowns and veneers, it should state the material. It should also list anything that may be added once treatment starts.
Consultation, X-rays and 3D CT scan
Implant system, abutment and crown material
Bone graft or sinus lift, if they may be needed
Extractions, temporary teeth and medication
Sedation or general anaesthesia, and who provides it
Follow-up and review visits
Visits, timing and length of stay
Implants are often placed in stages with a healing period before the final crown, so a plan may involve two trips some months apart. Crowns, bridges and veneers often involve a preparation visit and a fitting visit, with time in between for the laboratory to make the restoration.
Ask the dentist for a written schedule: how many appointments, how many days between them, and how long you should stay after the last one before flying. Build in spare days for adjustments, and agree how aftercare will be handled once you are home.
Warranties and problems after you fly home
Warranty terms vary from clinic to clinic, so get them in writing before you pay. Check what is covered (the implant fixture, the crown, or both), for how long, what conditions apply, such as regular check-ups, and whether the cover only applies if you return to the same clinic. The General Dental Council suggests asking who pays for flights, accommodation and remedial work if something goes wrong.
Talk to your home dentist before you travel. They are likely to be the first person you see if a problem appears later. Ask the Thai clinic for copies of your X-rays, scans and a record of the materials and implant components used, so another dentist can identify and maintain them.
Infection control
Poorly sterilised instruments can spread infection, a risk the Dental Council has highlighted in warnings about unlicensed dental services. It is reasonable to ask how instruments are sterilised between patients. For reference, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (there is no equivalent Thai patient guidance that we found) says dental handpieces should always be heat-sterilised between patients.
Payment, deposits and insurance
The UK government notes that private hospitals in Thailand typically request a deposit before treatment begins. Ask what the deposit covers, whether it is refundable if a scan shows the plan has to change, and which payment methods are accepted.
Check whether your travel or health insurance covers planned dental treatment and ask the clinic whether it can bill your insurer directly or will give you itemised receipts to claim. Residents insured under Thai social security have a capped annual dental benefit for basic treatment at participating clinics and hospitals; ask whether the clinic takes part before your appointment.
Questions to ask before you book
Who will carry out my treatment, and can I check their Dental Council licence and any specialist certificate?
Will I have an examination and scan before you confirm the plan and price?
Can I have the treatment plan and quote in writing, itemised line by line?
Which implant system, abutment and crown material will you use, and are parts available where I live?
What might be added once treatment starts, such as grafting, extractions or sedation, and at what cost?
How many visits will I need, how far apart, and how long should I stay after the last one?
What does the warranty cover, for how long, and do I have to return here to use it?
If a problem appears after I go home, who do I contact and who pays for the repair and travel?
Will I receive copies of my X-rays, scans and a record of the materials used?
How much deposit do you take, and is it refundable if the plan changes?
Warning signs
A firm price or plan given from photos alone, without an examination or scan.
Pressure to decide or pay quickly, or discounts that expire the same day.
A quote that does not say which implant system or crown material is included.
The clinic will not name the treating dentist or give their full name to check.
No written warranty, or vague answers about what happens if something fails after you leave.
Orthodontic or other dental work offered by someone who is not a licensed dentist.
How do I compare dental prices between Thai cities?
Compare like with like. Ask each provider for a written, itemised plan that names the implant system or crown material and lists the scan, abutment, crown, any bone graft, sedation and follow-up. Check the validity date too: several published fee lists in our records run only to a set date in 2026.
Do Thai dental clinics treat patients who fly in for treatment?
Many do, and some help with hotels and airport transfers. Others, such as neighbourhood chains, are aimed at residents. Treatment that is staged, such as implants or crowns made in a laboratory, often needs several visits days or months apart, so confirm the schedule before booking flights.
How can I check a dentist or dental clinic in Thailand?
The Dental Council of Thailand's public search at checkdent.dentalcouncil.or.th shows whether a dentist is registered, and the Department of Health Service Support's lookup at hosp.hss.moph.go.th shows a clinic's facility licence. Accreditation claims are shown on each profile as the provider states them.
Does travel insurance cover dental treatment in Thailand?
Planned dental treatment is often not covered, so check your policy before you travel. Ask the clinic whether it can bill your insurer or will give itemised receipts for a claim. Residents covered by Thai social security have a capped dental benefit for basic treatment at participating clinics.
